this prayer stuck out to me today...

I should have this attitude and do lot of the time ( not bragging, but by His Grace), but not as often or as soon as I would like to.

but ...what if I prayed this prayer every single day,

for one I could never do this on my own (not suppose to--God by His Power, Spirit and Word makes the way)...will I fail? most certainly--but I can choose to remind myself in little bits and pieces about the attitude and desire to accept His way for me each day...

I am no longer my own, but Yours (thine). Put me to what You will (thou wilt), rank me with whom You will (thou wilt). Put me to doing, put me to suffering. Let me be employed for You (thee) or laid aside for You (thee), Exalted for You (thee) or brought low for You (thee). Let me be full, let me be empty. Let me have all things, let me have nothing. I freely and heartily yield all things to Your (thy) pleasure and disposal. And now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,

Thou art mine, and I am thine.

So be it.

And the covenant which I have made on earth, Let it be ratified in heaven.

Amen.

Jesus IS Worthy of it all...

Dear Gracious Father in Heaven,

Thank you for loving me (us) and setting me free. Father you not only set us free, but you make the way. NO, that is not really a surprise because your Word says you will…but when you solidify that in ones heart. There are NO words to match, you know, you just know it.

This song I’ve listened to and sang (glad He listens to our hearts sing) nevertheless…I sang in worship to You for all the mighty wonderful things that you have done.

I thank You Father, In Jesus precious Name and to His Praise and Your Glory!

When we just can’t find a way to do something and we really just don’t want to, but know that we should or just feeling like we can’t, we must just look at the KING.

This song says it so well…

I won’t offer You something That cost me nothing I won’t rob you Of what You're worthy of I’ll give you the best, of the best of the best And Lord, You can have All the rest Because You are worthy of it all
Worthy of it all Worthy of it all Worthy of it all Jesus You're worthy Worthy of it all
The widow gave something that cost her everything She freely gave You What you're worthy of She gave You the best Of the best, of the best --Until she had nothing left She knew You were worthy
Worthy of it all!

Worthy of it all Worthy of it all
Jesus, You’re worthy of it all
Jesus Thine is the kingdom Power and the glory Lord You are righteous Lord You are Holy Thine is the kingdom power and the glory forever…And ever

My emphasis…(that’s FOREVER folks!! )

From You and through You Back to You are all things
From You and through You Forever, ever!!

Pondering at Christmas time

...sitting here Sunday evening at dusk here alone Christmas tree lights on and listening to wonderful relaxing Christmas music in the background...

Thinking about how grateful I am that God would love one like me. I am so thankful to be covered by the blood of His Son. I didn't know how to trust, to love, or to be loved, and so many other things.

What I did know, was that I was lonely, afraid, anxious, shameful, guilty and much more to speak of, and if it was not for God through His Son. Those things would have swallowed me WHOLE, I mean, I sincerely believe that I would not be here today, because I did NOT know what to do with those things. I am so thankful God saw different, so very different and showed me the way.

I don't think I can ever be too thankful for the mighty things that He has done!

and is doing...

and will do...

I am so glad, so very glad I have learned to trust Him, he has shown me th
e way...

and now I'm rejoicing in His Hope, Peace and Joy...and the best things it's not just for me,

but for ANYONE who will come!
